Roan Mountain State Park is beautiful and has the Doe River running through the campground.
We went to the Miller Farmstead that was established in the late 1800's. Actually still has horses and chickens.
We went to an overlook to see the Roan Mountain Ridge. Tallest point was 6200 feet.
It was insanely cold while here. We had troubles getting our slides in and retracting the landing gear due to the frozen hydraulics. It eventually warmed up enough to to pack up. Thank God!! Now we're headed for Old Mill Camp in Cookeville, TN. Enjoy your day!!!
